ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE YEAR 2016 – 2017

Child Labour Awareness Programme conducted on 12.06.2016 at Anna Nagar Auditorium by Minister Jayakumar, Benjamin, Nilofer Kapil Chennai Collector K.Govindaraj present there. Our students Dance Programme came in the Dhinakaran Daily paper on 13.06.2016.

• D-Zone Basket Ball held at DonBosco Matric.HSS, Peravallur on 23.08.2016. Winners are Juniors and Seniors & Super Seniors are Runners up
• D-Zone Ball Badminton held at Tarapore Loganathan Hr.Sec.School for Girls on 19.08.2016. Seniors, Juniors and Super Seniors are Runner Up.
• International Yoga Day celebrated on 21.06.2016 in our school. Our students did many asanas in the Morning Prayer.
• D-Zonal shuttle Badminton S.Sharanghi – IX D got runner up held at Kamaraj Mat. Hr.Sec.School, Ayanavaram, Chennai -23.
• Hindustan Karate Tamil Nadu – K.Deepika – IX – D (13-14 yrs) Kumite event got II Place & K.Rupika – VII D (10-12 yrs) Kata event got I Place.
• T.Janani – XII – C participated in 8th State Level competition held at Sree Vaishnavi Mahal on 15.08.2016 and got I prize.
• D-Zone Chess Competition held at Chennai. Hr.Sec.School, Ayanavaram, Chennai - 23 on 26.08.2016. A.Mythili –XII –E2 got I Place.
• S.Shalini – VII – B participated in State level Basket Ball tournament held at Madurai on 23.09.2015. Government of Tamil Nadu secured V Place.
• R. Dharanishree – XI – A2 got I Prize in Children’s Day oratorical Competition on 14.11.2016 and received prize from Educational Minister M.Pandia Rajan.
• English Oratorical Competition Impact of Mobile phone on Youth. R.Divya Lakshmi – XII A2 got I Prize held at A.M.Ramaswamy Mudhaliar Hr.Sec.School, Ambattur on 21.01.2017. She received Silver Rolling Trophy worth Rs.20000/.
